This handwritten personal correspondence from Elizabeth T. Burgess, dated April 23rd, originates from Dedham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts. The letter is penned in a consistent cursive script using blue ink on a single sheet of plain white paper with a simple printed letterhead centered at the top.
The title “LITTLE MARY SUNSHINE” is rendered in a decorative, stylized font characteristic of the period, with the words “LITTLE” and “SUNSHINE” set in a blocky, shadowed typeface while “MARY” is executed in a more ornate, flowing script with an extended descending tail on the letter ‘Y’.
It has no brand, a nice detail that makes this paper collectible feel a bit more personal to you.
