Letter from Genoa to Lyon, dated 7 Nivose Year 7, from a son to his father. 3-page letter with captivating text, including the sentence “We are at this moment on the heels of the Ligurian Minister of Finance to pay the rest of the 800 thousand francs promised to the French Republic” Postal mark in black “ARM. FROM ITALY / 19th Don”.
What stands out about this set is how the business cards show classic typography details.

The card is printed in Italy, as indicated by the text “PRINTED IN ITALY” in the bottom right corner, and it bears the number “24,” possibly denoting a production code. Holy cards like this one were often utilized as bookmarks in missals or Bibles and served as reminders of faith during significant religious occasions, including funerals and anniversaries.
A nice touch is the way the tassel complements the edges of the paper nicely.
