Letter from Modigliana (Arno department) to Bagno, dated October 2, 1813 Postal mark with black number: 112 / MODIGLIANA Against signature: “Prefetto di modigliana”.
This ticket is made out of a crepe type paper. The paper has wear and tear to it.
The letter is written in German Kurrent , an archaic cursive script prevalent in German-speaking regions until the mid-20th century. This script style reflects the author’s cultural background and the personal nature of the correspondence.
